Everything is ready for the 2025 edition of CES, an important world-class tech event that will be held from 7 to 11 January: during the event, LG Electronics will present the new collection of audio products “xboom by will.i.am”. It is a rich offer of possibilities, which includes wireless earbuds and Bluetooth speakers that were designed in collaboration with the famous rapper, record producer and television personality Will.i.am.
The fruit of an important collaboration
A combination that proved to be a winning one. Will.i.am has in fact been nominated Experiential Architect of the LG xboom line with the aim of improving the product, making it attractive and cutting-edge. The aim is to offer consumers a unique and innovative sound experience, capable of leaving its mark. The artist has a strong intuition, as well as a great creative interest in the development of new technologies capable of winking at the general public. Will.i.am thus gave its precious contribution to the creation of the design and marketing of the brand.
But what does the “xboom by will.i.am” collection promise? We are talking about a series that includes Bluetooth speaker (xboom Bounce, Grab, and Stage 301) which will have at their disposal theartificial intelligence. This will improve the listening experience, making it different and innovative. AI, in fact, will allow speakers to analyze the content being reproduced and automatically adjust the AI Sound, thus intervening on the melody, rhythm and/or voice. Not only that. Thanks to the AI Lighting function, multicolored lights will be able to light up on the speaker, and the lighting will go in rhythm with the music. Finally, the AI Calibration function will allow the speakers to recognize the area in which they are located (internal or external), and adjust the volume accordingly. The xboom speakers will also be equipped with a special button that will allow them to connect to the RAiDiO.FYI platform by will.i.am.
Thanks to the LE Audio Auracast function, it will be possible to synchronize the sound playback of multiple xboom devices at the same time. The xboom series will have improved sound thanks also to the integrated tweeters and full-range units made by Peerless, a famous Danish manufacturer.
Models not to be missed
There are many possibilities to choose from. The top of the range model, xboom Bounceis an eye-catching combination of aesthetics and quality. The model features integrated passive radiators, double dome tweeters and track woofers. High-frequency stereo sound with precise treble and an extended sound stage is guaranteed. The name Bounce comes from the passive radiators that bounce and light up to the rhythm of the music. Not only that. The model has a handle that allows you to hold the speaker in one hand, or hang it. Furthermore, the IP67 and 810G certifications are present, which guarantees resistance to water and dust. The battery is also excellent: up to 30 hours.
The model xboom Grabon the other hand, is compact and easy to transport thanks to its small size. Xboom Grab is equipped with two passive radiators positioned on both sides of the speaker, which allows for dynamic bass and lively sounds. It can be placed practically anywhere, and thanks to its handles it can also be attached to the arm. Also in this case we have IP67 and 810G certifications which guarantee resistance to water and dust. The duration of the speaker has a battery with an autonomy of 20 hours.
Xboom Stage 301on the other hand, is excellent for those who love to perform outdoors, or for those who love to enjoy karaoke. Thanks to the 6.5-inch woofer and dual 2.5-inch midrange drivers, this model can really give its best. The device has an integrated handle that ensures easy transportation. Great attention and care for the wedge design, useful for placing it in various positions. Xboom Stage 301 has IPX4 certification, which guarantees water resistance. There is also the possibility of changing the battery. This lasts 11 hours.
Finally we have the xboom Buds wireless earphones. This product guarantees full-bodied bass, possible thanks to the lightweight graphene drivers.
The earphones are ergonomic and comfortable, capable of adapting to any ear shape. The devices can guarantee 30 hours of listening, and are accompanied by a charging case. Also in this case the IPX4 certification guarantees water resistance.
