Unless sensational and unexpected surprises, yet another puppet government will fall that Emmanuel Macron has tried to form to survive. The ungovernability and disaster of the accounts of France arise from a simple consideration: the establishment has done everything in order not to make the right governing. A ridiculous health cordon, especially if we think of the results: they put together socialists, communists, moderate, liberal, Islamists so as not to give way to the Le Pen and now the country is collapsing.
The situation is particularly tense in view of the vote of trust foreseen at the National Assembly in five days. Prime Minister François Bayrou will try to obtain the approval of a financial restoration plan, which provides for cuts to public spending for about 44 billion euros. However, the proposal meets strong oppositions from both right and left -wing forces. This political isolation risks further questioning the majority holding that supports President Macron, already in difficulty. In the event of a negative outcome, a new electoral round is not excluded, nor the resignation of the president.
In the face of the growing instability, Bayrou announced his intention to face the vote by anticipating a national mobilization scheduled for September 10. A choice that, according to some observers, could represent a last political attempt before an announced defeat. A recent survey suggests that in the event of a government fall, most French citizens would be in favor of new legislative and presidential elections.

Paris is struggling with a growing public debt and a political crisis that hinders the adoption of effective solutions. One of the central elements of the crisis is represented by public debt, which exceeded 3,300 billion euros, equal to 5.4% of GDP. This is equivalent, according to some estimates, to a burden of about 50,000 euros for every French citizen. Despite the critical economic context, government proposals aimed at containing spending, such as the abolition of two holidays, have not found consent.
Some analysts have compared the current French situation to that of Greece during the sovereign debt crisis, hypothesizing even a possible intervention by the International Monetary Fund. The markets react with growing concern: the CAC 40 index recorded flexions, while the performance of the French government bonds at ten years has passed those of Greece and Portugal, approaching the Italian one. Paradoxically, Italy, together with Spain and Greece, is now considered by the markets in a more favorable way than France. It is a change of perspective compared to past years, in which these countries were often the subject of criticism by the most rigorous European partners on the tax level, such as Germany and the Netherlands.
In his speech at the end of August, Bayrou underlined the rhythm with which French debt grows: “Every hour, every day and every night” the country accumulates “12 million euros more”. He described the situation with the image of “A ship with a hole in the keel that embarks water for half a century”, remembering that the latest balance budget dates back to 1974. During a television interview, the Prime Minister also pointed the finger at the so -called tax dumping, explicitly citing Italy, accused of attracting the most wealthy French taxpayers. However, he omitted to remember that this practice is also widespread in other European countries, including Greece and Portugal, and that over the years many French citizens have chosen to move to Belgium, Switzerland and, more recently, in Italy.
