The twenty-fifth summit of the organization for the cooperation of Shanghai (SCO), staged in Tianjin, in China, officially certifies the renewed ambitions of the anti-Atlantic block. It is read in clear letters in the final declaration of the Tianjin summit, in which reference is made to the creation of a new alternative model to the western one with American traction. The countries of the SC block, says the note, support “respect for the law of peoples to choose their own political and socio-economic development paths independently and democraticly”, observing that “the principles of mutual respect for sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity, equality, mortgage advantage, non-interference in internal affairs and not threatening or use of force are the basis of a sustainable development of international relations”.
Ergo, the member countries of the organization for the cooperation of Shanghai, that is: China, Russia, India, Pakistan, Iran, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzistan, Tagikistan and Uzbekistan, which today represent almost half of the population and about a quarter of the world GDP, not to mention other sixteen additional countries of the global affiliates or ” Dialogue “, are very intentioned to put the hegemony of the United States into play through the creation of a new world order no longer Americancentric.
The official confirmation of the growing appetites of the Countries of the SC bloc countries come directly from the words of the Chinese president Xi Jinping and the Russian one Vladimir Putin, which underline the close need to promote a “new and more effective global governance system”, necessary to curb the pressures that some countries tend to exercise in international affairs. In this case, the reference to Washington’s policies is clear, as the fierce criticism of XI “to the hegemonism and the policy of force” leaves little to doubts or personal interpretations, then further increased by Putin, which defines the war in Ukraine as “the consequence of a coup d’état provoked and supported by the West”.
If on the one hand, in fact, Donald Trump has perfectly understood that he can no longer ignore the weight of Moscow in the new global geopolitical scenario and therefore tries to mend the relationships with the Russian Federation, on the other, Beijing knows very well that the launch of a new Asian world -traction order passes also and above all of Moscow’s adhesion to Chinese instances. Result: in a new global balance that must be more and more outlining, Vladimir Putin represents the real needle of the scale, the essential piece to make the weight of the globe hang in one or the other direction.
