The developers of WhatsApp I am at work to make available to users a new function capable of allowing them to save multimedia files on the mobile gallery directly from their state update.
The novelty was identified by the experts of Wabetainfo Within the beta version for Android 2.25.7.8, already available on the Google Play Store for those who are registered with the testing program. The option can become particularly useful in all those cases in which, for example, a photo or video previously published as a state update we no longer have the original file, perhaps because it is deleted by mistake or voluntarily but in a too hasty way.
The fact that this feature is introduced through a WhatsApp upgrade does not mean that before it it was impossible for users to recover these multimedia files shared as a state but deleted from the smartphone, however the procedure to be followed is decidedly very cumbersome. In order to carry out this operation, in fact, it is necessary to forward your state update to a chat or to a group and then save it from there, a little intuitive solution. Thanks to the new version it will be possible for everyone to use a comfortable shortcut To renent photos and videos of which we regretted we have freed us.
As you can see from the screenshots published on Wabetainfo, the option can be reached directly from the drop -down menu that opens by displaying the options available: by clicking on “Save“The multimedia content can be archived directly on the gallery with a simple click. The users of the famous instant messaging app will also be able to find the rescue option in the list of state updates shared in the last 24 hours, also simplifying the recovery of content published previously.
This is an option that will be made available only for your personal state, so it will not be possible to do the same as regards the multimedia files published as updates from our contacts: the only purpose of the upgrade is to facilitate management and storage
of the contents we share with friends and relatives. For now there are still few beta testers that have experienced the option, but in the next few days the new version will be distributed to a greater number of users.
