“This is for Gaza.” The raid by the Pro-Pal Islamists: hunt for the Jew in Amsterdam

These are horrifying images. A real manhunt. A pogrom. A joke againstJew just because he is Jewish. The images coming from Amsterdam, where last night Maccabi Tel Aviv fans were targeted by organized armed groups, beaten, beaten and injured. Not a feud between Ajax ultras and the Israeli team, but a real anti-Semitic raid in the name of “free Palestine”.

The attacked people were chased, beaten, stabbed and some thrown into the cold canals of Amsterdam, while the attackers cheered on behalf of Hamas and filmed the violence. In some cases, to avoid further violence, some had to deny their Jewish identity. Yarin tells the Israeli media: “We ended up in a fast-food restaurant, a KFC, with only a few policemen outside who didn’t know what to do. The Muslims tried to run us over, kidnap us, beat us, kill us…”. Adds Avigord: “Immediately after the match, when we got off the train, the chaos started. People running and hitting, people getting run over and attacked. Now there are fifteen of us holed up in the hotel. They throw firecrackers at us, they wait for us outside with their motorbikes. And the police do nothing!”.

They were real ambushes. Yaakov Masri tells ad Haaretz: “They started attacking us, broke my tooth and split my lips. And my son was punched in the face twice.”

The consequences of the attacks were tangible: at least ten Israeli fans were injured and the police had to intervene to ensure their safety. Subsequently, 57 arrests were made among the ranks of Hamas supporters. Three people were still missing. Not that it wasn’t predictable. Not only did numerous Pro-Pal banners appear around the stadium. But local police had been tipped off by Israeli intelligence, information that was apparently completely ignored. In fact, it was enough to look at Dutch social networks in Arabic to understand that local Muslims were organizing themselves and where, but no one from the police did anything.

Geert Wilders’ comment was harsh: “There seems to be a hunt for Jews on the streets of Amsterdam. May the multicultural scum who attacked Maccabi Tel Aviv fans be arrested and deported.”
