What is the favorite way by a musician to celebrate other musicians? Play their songs. So Cesare Cremonini celebrated the Oasis reunion in Cardiff last night, Friday 4th July, playing their irreplaceable passage, that Cigarettes & Alcohol which was the latest single of their debut album, the epochal Defintely Maybe of 1994. And the stage of the San Nicola di Bari was ideally joined for a few minutes to that of Cardiff. Among other things, Cremonini enters very well in the role of Liam Gallagher (and what a beautiful battery, very powerful) and this is certainly one of the most beautiful homages to the reunion of the year.
