Is the US economy really starting to tank?

The US housing market seems to be hanging in the void, mortgages at their lowest, unsold home stocks at their highest, the FED not lowering rates… In the caravan of economic news where it is difficult to orient oneself, the indicator pops up GOLDMAN SACHS ANALYST INDEX which tracks various corporate metrics of listed companies that indicate how US economic conditions are improving (indicator in blue that explodes above the average). Obviously it could be noise but out of respect for old Mrs. Goldman we publish the graph below because if it were true, kisses and hugs to the rate cut.
