Realme C67, 108 megapixels for 200 euros: the review

In the increasingly crowded smartphone market, the clear trend is to offer lower-end products with higher-end features. This also applies to Realme’s latest model, the C67, which focuses on the quality-price ratio to make space for itself in the Italian market. Equipped with a 108 megapixel camera, a 6nm Snapdragon 685 processor and an attractive design, it is an interesting product, although not too dissimilar to other devices of the same positioning. But, as we know, it is now difficult to find new formats for smartphones and so, precisely, the important thing is what you put into them.

Realme’s C Series has already demonstrated some global success with the previous C55 model, which reached the figure of 100 million units shipped (an indicator that quantifies the units requested by stores). And it is therefore understandable why the company is now focusing on the C67 smartphone, especially to expand its presence on the European market, the objective of 2024. It does so with a product that has the dual rear camera as one of its strong points: in addition to that 108 megapixel main camera, C67 is also equipped with 3X Zoom and a larger sensor than the average in its price range. This allows you to not only capture high-quality images, but also take full advantage of its night-capture capabilities, with a significant increase in the light detection area. The quality of the video footage is also good.

The 6nm Snapdragon 685 processor delivers a smooth and responsive experience, optimizing both CPU and GPU performance. This translates into greater power and efficiency, allowing you to easily manage daily tasks and better enjoy multimedia content on the 6.72-inch screen with 950 nits brightness, which guarantees excellent visibility even in direct sunlight. Plus Mini Capsule 2.0 adds a touch of interactivity to the on-screen experience, with more dynamic software functions when playing music or pop-ups. The design, just 7.59 mm thick, is elegant and modern and features two colors (Sunny Oasis and Black Rock) that distinguish the smartphone thanks to a gradient coating on the back that creates chromatic effects.

As mentioned, Realme C67 has an accessible price list: the 8+256 Gb variant is available at the recommended price of 239.99 euros, with a launch offer that offers it for just 199.99 euros until February 12th at the main retailers. The 6+128 Gb version also offers an excellent opportunity, with a recommended price of 219.99 euros which drops to 159.99 euros thanks to the launch offer on Amazon. And starting from March, it will also be possible to find it in Tim centres.
